Born and bred in Ventura, Evan not only took into account our housing needs, but the locations he chose to show my wife and I were areas we wouldn't have thought of otherwise - allotting for an easy work commute, great school options for our child, quick access to the beaches, and a great group of neighbors. He's easy to get ahold of, has a personality that meshes well with anyone, and comes from a family of local realtors, granting him rare access to local historical knowledge most realtors don't have. There wasn't a question about a house, tract, or neighborhood he wasn't able to quickly find the answer to. Evan was wonderful during the entire house hunting and buying process. We were the 1st time buyers and he helped us in each and every steps of the home buying process. He presented us with multiple options available at each steps and help us choose which one will be the best being it buying the house, loan, inspection etc. He was very patient with us each step and made sure all our requirements are meet. We are the family with the small kids so we wanted the house that is not on the running road, Evan made sure before showing us house he check where it is located and is the street and neighborhood safe for the kids. His whole family is in this business and the have tons of contact and the knowledge about the area, which helped us getting the right price for the property and get the wining bid to get our offer accepted. It was an unconventional approach, but it worked! Not only was he attentive to our needs but knew enough to bring us the right properties and point us towards the ideal one without being pushy. We were looking for a house with an ADU but with today’s market those sell like hot cakes, so Evan pointed us to a property with a potential to build an ADU and knowledgeably guided us through the whole process. Evan Remedios was a delight to work with. He took such care with our home in Sherman Oaks, not only holding an excellent open house (with snacks, drinks etc) that saw lots of people visit (and bid) but also doing the little things, like helping move a rug that had gotten damp before a viewing. He went above and beyond and did everything in his power to make our house sell fast and for a great price. Once we had a great offer he continued to go beyond what we had hoped, helping organize movers / someone to take broken stuff and just generally advocating on our behalf - pushing back on some speculative claims on inspection from buyers and getting us the best deal. I couldn't recommend him more highly; he's tireless, trustworthy and patient and a really nice guy with a strong set of ethics. I'm pretty cynical at times, and i honestly believe he put our interests above all else (especially his own)
